While I’m integratively trained and believe the therapeutic relationship itself is profoundly healing, my work goes deeper than simply “talking it through.” Together, we explore your patterns, your process, and the parts of you that have developed to keep you safe.
My primary approach is Parts Work. A therapeutic model based on the understanding that the human psyche is made up of multiple “parts” or subpersonalities, each with its own thoughts, feelings, and protective roles.
The key truth? Your parts are not problems to be fixed.
They are adaptive responses, strategies formed over time, often in response to stress, trauma, or unmet needs.
Rather than seeing the self as one fixed identity, Parts Work recognises the rich complexity of our inner world. You might have a highly driven part, a self-critical part, a vulnerable child part, or a protector that shuts down emotion. These parts were all trying to help, but sometimes the strategies that once kept us safe no longer serve us now.
Through gentle awareness and guided reflection, Parts Work helps you understand these internal dynamics, bringing clarity and compassion to your inner system. Over time, you’ll learn to recognise your parts, soothe what’s been in overdrive, and lead your life from a more integrated, grounded, and authentic sense of Self.
